Last few days

Only four more days till I return home. I will be leaving with mixed feelings. I am going to miss my grandson so much, but I am also really homesick and can't wait to get back to Mr Ayak and Beki.

I won't have time to blog again before I leave, and I'm not sure how long I'll have to wait for my internet connection at the new house, so I may be out of touch for a while.

In the meantime, and at the risk of being a "boring grandma" here are a couple more pics of my dear little Billy.

See you soon!

  1. That is one gorgeous baby. Just think - when you are back online you can set up (or get) a webcam and have regular 'look sees' with Billy and his mum - all from the relaxed atmosphere of Your House - no more being a stayer in someone else's.

Good luck with the leaving, the bye byes and the Turkish hellos. I hope you love your new home and, even if it doesn't have everything you want at first, you'll soon have everything just as you like it.

  4. Billy is so beautiful Ayak.
This must feel so bittersweet, you want to go home to Mr Ayak and Beki, and yet you dont want to leave Billy, or your daughter.
Just think, you will have atoms playing on your back, instead of heavy raindrops, Beki will be so overjoyed to see you, she must be missing you so much, I can just see her jumping up and down for joy, or will that be Mr Ayak.
Who has worked hard to get the house ready for you, it will all be lovely, another adventure.
Be in touch as soon as possible.

  7. Blogs are wonderful to read Ayak, and I will stick to reading, much prefer that, who knows, perhaps in a hundred years I might change my mind.
When do you go home, tomorrow?.

Get yourself connected to Skype and a web cam, that way you can see him everyday for free.

Only two months into blogging an you are already an award winner. Congratulations - it´s well earned. Keep up the splendid work!
