Beautiful Billy

OK...I'm being a boring grandmother again and posting up another photo of my darling Billy.

My daughter has been very busy this past week so we haven't had chance to chat on webcam, but we're going to attempt to catch up today.

I miss them so much.   Particularly as Christmas is almost upon us, and I just know how hard it will be for me, not being able to see Billy enjoy his first Christmas.

My daughter is taking Billy to see Santa soon, and I'm hoping to see some pics of his reaction...which I'll post here of course.

It's not a good thing to wish one's life away, but I have to admit that I'm counting the days until I visit the UK again in April...just in time for Billy's first birthday.

  1. Yes it's great isn't it? I want one!

  2. Every time you talk about the separation of you and little Billy and talk about the webcams..... I just know what it is like as it reminds me so much of when I was in the same situation when my grandchildren were in in Japan. I was longing for visits all the time.

He is such a gorgeous little man!

    Nuts in May

  3. I love boring grandmothers and their posts with beautiful photos that cheer up my day like nothing else.
God bless Billy, Ayak, and his boring grandmother, too.

  4. Maggie: I honestly don't know how I would manage without webcam...I would miss so much.

...and Monalisa, Astro and Fly...thank you for your lovely comments....and for putting up with this very proud grandmother!

  5. Cute as buttons in that little outfit of his.

Ayak are you able to attatch the laptop to your TV?
I´m not sure if it will work, but that is perhaps one way of seeing your daughter and Billy on a larger screen.

  6. Amag: Oh you already know what a technophobe I am! I haven't a clue how to do stuff like that. I still can't use my dvd player, which is all connected up to the TV (by someone else I hasten to add) because I can't cope with so many remote controls (blush)! BUT my friends from Side are coming up over Christmas..and one of them always brings his toolbox and expertise to help me deal with these problems...thank goodness

  7. What a shame to live from one Billy and daughter visit to the next. In a few years time though they might be coming to see you, so it will be twice as often. Till then I know it can't be easy - thank goodness for webcams.

What we spoke about on Facebook - it's looking quite optimistic :)

  8. FF: Well of course I do enjoy living the bits in between, but it would be nice to be able to pop over more often.

    Re your 2nd comment...excellent!

  9. He's adorable!!! What a cutey, he looks so sweet in his little hat!
I'm glad you like this background Ayak, thanks so much for popping over to my blog and leaving such a nice comment.

  10. Karen: Thank you...and you're welcome!

I love getting comments, but don't feel obliged...I'm just happy you're reading my blog.
