Taking a break

I'm taking a break from blogging for a while.  I really have no idea how long..could be days...could be weeks. I just have so much emotional and stressful stuff going on in my life at the moment, and I need a clear head.

Blogging sometimes helps me to deal with everything that's going on in my mind...but sometimes I feel too stressed to write...and that's how I'm feeling right now.

I'll still be reading all my favourite blogs of course, and when I've managed to shuffle all the words in my brain into some sort of order, so that they make sense, I'll be back.

  1. Just take care of yourself, enjoy the dogs, sit in the garden while it's cool....it's all been so exhausting for you recently.

Looking forward to seeing you when you come back and thinking of you often.

  2. Yes, the wise Fly has said it all for me. You've been through a lot this year and it is very hard to stay quiet when we can see our loved ones making what we think are mistakes. Just hang on in there, everything changes - things will get better. You just look after yourself until your return.

  3. I will miss you but I am sure you need time to regenerate your feelings after all you have been through.
Hoping something will work out for you both as soon as possible.

  11. I have a few blogs as you know. Some people can't believe I can manage them but it' not that hard. I usually write the posts in my head as I'm going around and I run them up when I have a few minutes to spare. When something 'bloggable' occurs to me I usually stick a prompt on a draft and leave it there. I take a look at it when I need inspiration and come back when it's prepared in my head. When I did my recent NaBloPoMo month in July (one post a day on the same blog) I had a ton of prompts ready and I scheduled them all in advance. I also find the cameraphone a marvellous help in doing posts. All you need to do is stick on a photo, write a comment - and there's your post. So Ayak if blogging is getting too much for you I'd say - just post a photo and comment once a week.Keep your hand in and don't disappear. You'd be terribly missed...

  12. gaelikaa...I also plan my posts as I'm doing other things. It's not that the blogging itself is getting too much, it's that I have problems at the moment that I'm trying to sort out, and it's all such a jumble in my head that I wouldn't even attempt to blog about it.

But I love to blog so I am posting photos...learning how to post videos and this keeps me going. I don't actually want to leave my blog alone for too long.

  14. Sorry you are having such a tough go right now. Hope you are able to get things sorted out soon. I understand the feeling so much going on and its just hard to organize the things in your head much less put it down in words. Im feeling similar these days. Wish we were closer it would be nice to have an English friend to chat with! Sometimes Turkish ways are just a bit too much for me to deal with. I feel like Im caught up in the twilight zone right now.
