A New Year

2010 wasn't really one of my better years.  I could write pages now about everything that's gone wrong but I won't because I have much to be thankful for.   .  So many people are far worse off than me.

2011 is full of hope.   I have so much to look forward to this year. The birth of my second grandson is due in April, around the time of my first grandson Billy's 2nd birthday, and I plan to be there for both events.

I won't be making any resolutions...I never have done..because I rarely stick to them.  I prefer to make them at other times of the year, as and when the time is right.

Do you make New Year's resolutions?  Do you stick to them?

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

  1. What a lovely header to your post!

Wishing you both all the very best for 2011...it hasn't got to us yet.

No I don't make resolutions....no point as I'd never remember what they were unless i wrote them down.

  4. Happy New Year!!! I make resolutions but never do them all that once. They are more things that I'm going to work on gradually in the new year. I hope 2011 is a very good year for you. :)

  8. I made one resolution this year, just the one, so I can focus on getting it right.
My wish for you for 2011 is that life is kinder for you. That life is easier, in some small way and that if doors don't open as you wish, at least you'll find a window unlocked and can achieve what you need that way.
I wish you both joy, and peace and most of all security.
I think I'll wish that for myself, as well.
Happy New Year 2011 from Rostrenen to Milas.

  12. I kind of made two resolutions, and they will work because they are scheduled already..Actually both of them don't exactly count as resolutions, the timing just happened to be the new year :) But i must say the new year was a motivation to make me take the necessary steps :)
Hope your 2011 goes much better. Wish you much luck, and happiness!
