Taking a Break

I'm taking a break from blogging.  I was actually thinking of closing the blog altogether, but had second thoughts.  I just don't have anything to say at the moment, but maybe I will sometime in the future so I've decided not to delete..just in case.

I'll still be reading your blogs though.

Have a good weekend.

  1. Fully respect your decision....but do hope you'll blog again in the future.

You've given me...and I'm sure much encouragement, and it's much appreciated.

  2. been following your blog for a year although seldom commented. I have enjoyed your blog so I hope you return very soon. take care. (I don't have a blog myself) Loretta from Scotland

  3. Don't you dare close! Have a break by all means.
I, for one am a great fan.
I often don't know what to blog about. I think that happens to us all.
    Hope to see you soon!

I've only found your blog lately and love reading it. I think you are fantastic and you should not be so hard on yourself. Love the photos of your grandson Billy. I'm sure he brings your great joy! All my best wishes to you and enjoy your trip home to your daughter. Looking forward to reading more after your break.

  6. I have followed you for quite some time. I've enjoyed your easy style of writing and your relaxed approach to what life throws at you. I hope you have a good break and that maybe the government relax the rules and make it all a bit easier soon. Thank you for sharing your life and I really hope you pop back :) xxxx

  7. I'm another who only discovered your blog recently and always love reading your posts. We all have dry spells in different areas of our lives, so I very much hope you will come back refreshed after your trip and the excitement of your new grandchild. Meanwhile, I will go on exploring your past posts.

  8. Nothing to blog about you say? I enjoy the blogs where you are creating meals and cakes from your short stock....describing the house, the rains, Mr. A's work and the village...
I miss hearing about these things..just a day in your life is interesting.

  9. Well my wife and I sure do enjoy reading your blog and hope you come back to blogging after a might be surprised how often you put a smile on our faces early in the morning.:) Take care.

  11. Also fully respect your decision and wish you well.

Like Mr H you'd be surprised how often you make us smile and how often we chat about you and Mr Ayak. We are full of admiration for you both.

We'll still be here for a chat if you feel like dropping in. xx

  12. Thank you for everything you've shared so far and looking forward to hearing from you after your 'holiday'.

  13. You'll think of stuff to write, you won't be able to help yourself now. I was just making marmalade and was missing my UK cooker and ten minutes later had a blog done about what I wish I could have brought from home and what I'm glad I brought.

If you want a day out and miss a chat in English I'm not far away, I can come and pick you up in Selcuk or Soke if you get the bus.

    K xxxx

  14. A break is always needed. Comeback when your time is right. We will be waiting here!

  15. I'm so glad you decided to keep writing. I would have missed your posts!
