COMMENTS ON A PREVİOUS POST

Please note that my earlier post PLEASE WATCH THİS VİDEO is now closed for comments.  Please read the post by all means, and if you feel there is any way you can support Karen in her work, then please follow the link to the T.A.G. Facebook page.

Sorry to have to do this, and to introduce comment moderation on my blog, but I never realised there were so many nasty, vindictive people involved in animal welfare and rescue.  Their comments are not welcome here.

My support for Karen Lowrie Wren continues.

  1. I'm sorry that you're having so much trouble with comments.
Can't understand why people can't just moved on to another blog if they don't like this one.
It is impossible to please everyone all the time and everyone has a right to an opinion but Ayak & Karen are all FOR animals not against them.

  2. Maggie: Thanks. These are people who claim to be helping animals. It's a pity they can't use the energy they are wasting on causing trouble for those like Karen who are working flat out, on actually doing something useful.
Ah well...it takes all sorts I guess.

  3. Nothing surprises me in a comment section anymore. It's depressing the amount of pettiness and ignorance and downright mean-spiritedness that exists online. They say things that they would never dream of saying publicly. And quite rightly, because they would mostly get a drink thrown in their face and or at worst, end up with a crooked nose for the rest of their unimportant selfish lives.

  4. Nomad: You're right of course. It's all too easy to hide behind a screen and fling insults everywhere.
To be honest I don't know how Karen has coped with it all. She has been working to rescue and find homes for dogs for 9 years now, and the insults and attacks on her and downright vicious lies about her personal life, would have had me giving up years ago if I'd been her.
She's clearly made of stronger stuff...bless her heart.
