Very impressive. You might need a few more thicknesses of chick wire on the front if Mr. Fox comes by.
Yes I think you're right BtoB. He's going to put another couple of layers on, together with a secure lock.
It is beautiful. I am really looking forward to seeing happy chickens wandering about your garden, and perching, sleeping and laying in that wonderful hen house. Well done Mr. A. Jxx
Thanks Janice. I think he's made a very good job of it. We need to make sure it's very secure before getting the chickens xx
That looks smashing :-). If Chris tried to make something like that he would probably end up attached to it!C x
Mr A has some difficult moments when he's making something Carol, but he gets there in the end x
I am sure your chickens will be very happy.
I think they will omentide x
The chickens will love this new model home.....do you also have foxes in your area? We have them here where I live I guess they hang around the parks, because this is a big city where I am. Sometimes my husband when he goes for a smoke after midnight he sees a fox marching down the street sometimes ducking cars......Can hardly wait to see your chickens.....are you going to name them???? LOL..... tell Mr. A he done a good job.
I think we do have foxes in the area Erica, although I haven't seen any. We will have to make sure the chickens are safe...and yes I'm sure I will name them LOL xx(I'll tell Mr A..he'll be pleased)
Great "green" idea! I would recommend to put some straw inside, it can be more cosy for them ;)
Hello Rodzynki and welcome to my blog. Yes we are going to put straw inside before the chickens arrive. I think they will be very cosy!
Yay! Chickens R us, Ayak. :-) Mr A's chicken house looks great and I look forward to seeing it complete with its contented new inhabitants before long.
Well Mr A has been taking some advice from someone in the village who has said it would be best to get our chickens in the Spring Perpetua, so we may have to wait for a while yet.
Well whenever you get the chickens, there will be a lovely home for them. Thanks to Mr A who is very clever.Maggie XNuts in May
