Halloween

Hope those of you who celebrate it had an enjoyable Halloween.

Here are two little boys who had a lot of fun:

Billy the Pumpkin

Jimi the Skeleton

I miss my two gorgeous boys...only 5 weeks until I see them again

  1. They look so adorable and I can't believe the youngest is that big!
Glad you see the boys fairly regularly and that you have made an obvious impression on them. Like my own grandsons, who live in Essex.... regular contact has made a strong bond.

    1. Thanks Maggie. Of course I would love to see them more often, but with the help of webcams too, at least they know who I am!

And I keep meaning to tell you that your blog is one of several that I can't seem to post comments on at the moment. I'm still reading though, and love your recent photos of the children! The Halloween ones are great.

  6. So cute and they sure have grown....I didn't know that Halloween was celebrated in the UK.
In my neighbourhood we had over 400 kids come over for trick or treating. I had enough candy for over 500....and it all went. They actually drive them over to our street from other neighbourhoods that are sort of lower income. I guess it's kind of not easy to buy candy and give it out if you don't have enough to feed your family. But we love it....my neighbours and us all decorate with lights and 'Halloween stuff' and all so basically it's known our couple of houses. My husband and neighbour dress up as some scary characters and run out of the bushes and scare the kids...you should hear the screaming and see the running....tooo funny. All the kids ask will we be back next year, they said they are coming....yes we will. I already got some more decor that was half off the next day.

    1. Hi Erica. We never celebrated Halloween when I was a child. Actually I don't recall my children being aware of it either when they were little, so it's something I think we adopted from your part of the world.

How lovely that you go to so much effort to make it fun for so many kids xx
