Most of my day was spent out on the balcony, making the most of the blue sky and sunshine.
Of course, as soon as the sun starts to go down, the temperature drops dramatically and we know it;s still winter. But it does help to lift your mood and everyone seems so much happier.
One little chap who wasn't too happy for a brief moment today, was a lamb who is only a few weeks old. He has been out walking past our house with his mother and their owner during the past week, and this morning Mr A picked him up for a cuddle. With the shepherdess on the other side of the gate with his mother, Mr A handed the lamb to me for a hug. Gorgeous little lamb. We put him down in the garden for a little while, but he cried for his mum. Mr A opened the gate. In rushed mother sheep to "rescue" her baby.

Hasn't the weather been lovely today? We took the bike out to meet up with many other bikers in Őzdere. It seemed like every biker in Ege was out enjoying the coast road!
ReplyDeleteIt was certainly the weather for biking omentide. Am sure you had a great time.
DeleteWhat a lovely little chap!
ReplyDeleteHe was Fly, Delightful!
DeleteJake met his first lambs face to face today. The second he realised they weren't dogs, he started a deep growl so I dragged him away.
ReplyDeleteAh so Jake isn't keen on lambs then! Poppy barked furiously, but I kept her on the balcony and the lamb was at the top of the garden. Not sure how she would be face to face.
DeleteThis is a lovely post Ayak, and the little lamb is gorgeous...Enjoy the sunshine. Jx
ReplyDeleteI loved that little lamb Janice! The sunshine continues today and it's lovely xx
DeleteAwww...cute story about the lamb and how lovely to have some sun! Am rather jealous as I look out at our grey and rainy sky!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year lovely lady...hopefully this year I will have more time to visit!

Hate to rub it in Carol but it's been another sunny day today with clear blue skies. Am making the most of it because I'm sure it won't last xx
DeleteHappy New Year to you too Carol xx
aaaawh , mega cute. Glad you are having some some, we have snow today, a few inches deep!
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you auntiegwen. Snow is very pretty of course, but I don't like it. The days are lovely at the moment, but the nights are very cold.
DeleteSnow here too, Ayak and more forecast. Some of your sunshine and warmth would be very welcome. I love lambs too, but it's too early for lambs up here. It is so touching to hear the lambs calling for their mothers if they've got separated and their mothers replying.
ReplyDeleteThe weather has changed again today Perpetua after this little taste of Spring. We have gale force winds and rain on the way, although it's not really cold. Don't envy you the snow though!
