Simple chocolate brownie recipe

As promised in my previous post here is the recipe  I found on Facebook for chocolate brownies using Nutella.

It only requires 3 ingredients.  Nutella already contains fat, milk and chocolate.

1 cup (280g) Nutella
2 eggs
10 tbsp (62g) flour

Put ingredients in a bowl.  Beat together.. Pour into a pan or muffin tin. Top with hazelnuts if  desired.   Bake at 350F (180C) for around 30 minutes (less time for cupcake form, more time if the centres aren't baked through).

I changed the recipe slightly.  Nutella is quite expensive here, and there are many other cheaper versions.  The supermarkets often have their own brand of a similar spread.  I found a 500g tub in Tansas for 2.95 lira (about £1).

I approximately doubled up on the ingredients, using 500g of the Nutella-type spread, 4 eggs and 100g of flour.    Verdict:  Good result.   Delicious with cream.   A very quick and easy recipe.

  1. I'll pass this to my good friend...perhaps she'll make them for me when I'm over in France.

    1. I assume you can't get Nutella in CR then Helen?

  2. Here's another recipe for Nutella...

    1. Ooh that looks delicious...thankyou Helen x

  3. Hallo Ayak! It was a Long time since I commented On your blog but since I have an
interest in Turkey, and love your reflections upon everyday Life in Turkey, I return To your blog often.
Now as it happens me and my son will go on a Little roadtrip along the coast, from Antalya to Izmir, where we will leave the car and take the train to Istanbul. We have spent the night in a hotel in Antalya and today we will go and see Fethiye and then move on to Marmaris where we probably will spend the night. Tomorrow we will move on and of course we want to see Bodrum. And then I thougt about you. You wrote in a post that you would maybe go to Bodrum some day, but as I understand from your last post you will probably not be going there for a while. I wanted to write anyway. IF you should happen to be there it would have been so nice to meet you over a cup or coffee. But then, you really don't know me, whereas I feel more acquainted to you since I read your blog.
This was just a spur of the moment-thing. I hope you don't find it intrusive.
My son and I even had a wild idea to go and see you at your home, if the roads aren't too difficult. I should add that my son is 19 years old and as interested in the genuine turkish Culture as I am. So if it is possible we could consider coming by at your Place, just for a short visit, we really don't want to cause you any trouble and please, feel free to say no if it feels too Weird. Once again : the spur of the moment. :) Maybe we could give you a lift to Bodrum? This is very short notice, and I am usually the more planning type but what is it they say: You more often regret the Things you don't do than the things you do.
So now I have asked and of course I won't take offense whatever your answer will be. This was extremely short notice. :) Best regards / Gisela (Selda) and Samuel

    1. Of course it doesn't feel weird Selda, and you are not being intrusive. I would love to see you, and of course you and your son will be welcome to come and visit me at home. I don't want to post my phone number on here, but perhaps I could suggest that if you have a mobile phone with you, send me a comment with the number, and then I will message you. I won't publish your comment of course, so the number won't appear on here. Look forward to hearing from you xx

  4. That sounds rather yummy, Ayak. Something for the grandsons, I think... :-)

    1. Yes the grandsons would love them Perpetua. They would also enjoy making them as they are so easy to do.

I love getting comments, but don't feel obliged...I'm just happy you're reading my blog.
