Saturday's random photos

Mr A is battling away with the demolition and rebuilding of walls around the house and the dogs are keeping me busy!

Wall rebuilt at the side of the house next to driveway

Driveway for the truck, which has now been cemented but no photo as its now covered with a pile of sand

The back of house..normally the dogs' area but wall now being demolished and rebuilt

The dogs will be pleased when it's finished..and so will I!

This is what my dogs eat twice a day

Monty and Poppy...time for bed

Jimi and Billy...future rock stars?

  1. It's all action isn't it...apart from the two sleepyheads!

I've been playing with Photostitch - confined to house with rotten cold and messing about on the laptop - do you have it? I'll be thinking in terms of panoramas in future when I take pics having seen what it can do.

    1. Oh I haven't heard of that Helen. I'll have to take a look.

      Get well soon xxx

  2. Give that man a gold star, Ayak. He's doing a tremendous amount of work. As for the dogs' food, it looks like it may take you longer to feed them than to feed yourself and Mr A. :-)

    1. It's hard work Perpetua. He's having to break a lot of huge rocks to get enough to rebuild the walls.

And yes it does often take longer to feed the dogs, and I cook up pasta every day too to mix with the dried food.Whoever said "it's a dog's life" wasn't wrong!

  3. I think you will have to have a doggy wedding. That should get the neighbours talking.

  4. Love the new header for the blog, Ayak....and some great random photos. That's quite some challenge Mr A has taken on. Hope the weather stays fine for him to get finished with the walls (then he'll be on to something else!) Great photo of the boys too. Axxx

    1. Well we have a few days of sunshine forecast Annie so he's doing as much as he can before the rain starts. We realised that this wall at the back has to be watertight, because that seems to be where the water is currently running down to the back of the house, causing damp in the bedrooms. There are other things to be done but this is the most urgent.

Had to post a photo of the boys to remind myself what I'm missing...but not long before I see them x

    1. It will be a relief Janice. The dogs can then run around the back of the house in their area rather than being confined to the front. Poppy and Monty are so funny, they are now swopping beds.

  8. You are getting on well.. You seem to be winning now. I know how you feel when work is ongoing. It's the same with us, you always seem to be managing around rubble and mayhem. Won't it be a relief when we're all finished. We'll have to throw a finished the garden party!
