Post No 1,000

It's nearly 5 years since I started blogging, and this is my 1000th post.  Who would have believed it?

I'm not going to write much on this post, but I would like to mark it with some photos of those who are important in my life.

My beautiful daughter, Stella, and my adorable grandsons Billy and Jimi

My 9 rescue dogs.  Megan, Sammy, Blondie, Freddie, Monty, Tommy, Chas, Dave and Melek.

And those we rescued, but no longer with us.  Gone but never forgotten.  Beki and Poppy.

Last, but by no means, least, my lovely husband Mr A, who shares my passion and determination to help as many stray dogs as possible.  I couldn't do it without him.

Finally, thankyou my loyal  followers and friends for making blogging so enjoyable.

  2. Well done you, Ayak! 1000 posts is a pretty cool achievement, despite all the things that are going on in your life - finding time to share and blog about them is the added extra - for us, I mean, but I know how special it is to feel you have friends in different corners of the world. Cheers to you, Mr A, your dogs, your lovely family and your blog. From your friend in Andalucia. Axxx

Very nice photos of all your Family and furry Family......I don't always comment but I do read all your posts and see in the photos how times and things change. You and Mr. A have big hearts...not to many people would be willing to do things that you both do to help the doggys'.
Not going to visit Turkey this year due to the horrible flood we had last summer.... 'but' hopefully next year I'm going to make a point of coming your way....when we visit.

    Take care XXXX

    1. Thanks Erica.

I'm not really surprised that this year's visit won't happen for you. It must have been a terrible expense to put everything right after the floods. But you must be disappointed. I am too, but we must definitely make time to meet when you come next year. Take good care Erica, and I hope the weather is starting to warm up a little xx
