Taking a break

My blog posts are becoming boring.  I lack inspiration.  Maybe it's just that time of year, but I never wanted blogging to become a chore, so unless I have anything new or interesting to talk about, I'll not be posting for a while.

In fact I am spending too much time on the internet when I could be doing other things.  I need to muster up a bit more enthusiasm for sorting out the garden, and now that my dogs are more settled, and the puppies need less of my attention, I intend to get out and about more.

But first I need to catch up with some much needed sleep.   I am up around 4.30 to 5am every day and going to sleep later than I should.  So it's taking it's toll.

See you all again soon I hope xx

  1. Sleep well, Ayak, and enjoy your break. We all get stale at times and there is plenty to life beyond blogging. But don't stay away too long as you will definitely be missed. P xxx

  2. Well you weren't boring me...but I know how it is!
The garden could do with my attention at the moment too...Danilo is busy with the building works and grass is growing like nobody's business!
Catch up on your sleep - and you'll feel a lot more like things in general.

  3. I feel like that lately with the weather getting better I've some weeding and gardening to do. Still trying to get the basement back to some order...cause we lost everything.
But.....I'm so excited b/c my daughter is going to Brighton for Law School and 'maybe' before that we might head to Turkey for a couple of weeks for my husband's business and maybe we can meet up....:-)

    Take care....XXOO

  4. Enjoy your sleep and hope you find the inspiration to work on your garden!

  5. I've never thought of your blog as boring........ really I haven't.
I've been away for a while because of family health problems that I've just written about in a new post. I often think writing my problems down in a post must make boring reading too. However, it's all part & parcel of living and if we always have to smile a *plastic* smile & say *cheerful* things to please others, then it's really not worth the reading or the writing.
I like your blog because you are a *real* person and write about *real* things.
Sorry I've not been around much.
Hope to get back to Blogging again soon.
    Maggie x

    Nuts in May

  6. Never boring, Ayak!! I absolutely understand how it is - in fact, it's how it is here for me too. I have to try and spend less time on the computer because I have so many other things to do. I know you'll just have to tell us something soon, but catch up on your other things first...and sleep well! Axxx

  7. You weren't boring me either - but I know what you mean about spending too much time on the internet instead of getting on with real life. Enjoy your gardening & getting out & about & I am sure it will re-charge your batteries & hopefully we will see you back before too long. Take care x

  8. I do understand you; very recently I made a big fuss about closing my blog with a farewell post. I came back soon after with my tail between my legs (I'm a dog lover too !). Your blog, which I just discovered, is fun and interesting though so I'm becoming a follower. You might come back after all ....

  9. Just popping in to say thankyou for your comments and it's lovely to know I'll be missed a little bit. I am less tired than I was a few days ago, so feeling a bit more enthusiastic. xxx

  10. Never boring, but enjoy your break. Don't forget to come back though.

  11. Welcome back! I thought that it would not be long before you returned,
I do not like to post as anonymous, Please will someone advise me which one of the 8 options from the Comments; Drop Down box. it is easy to use. when i comment on many other blogs it just appears with my name. I am so confused on this one.
Thank you in advance for any forthcoming help.

    1. Hi Jan. Impossible to stay away for too long! I always get a bit confused when faced with the drop down box, but I think you click on the Google one...I'm sure someone else will know better than I do though x

I love getting comments, but don't feel obliged...I'm just happy you're reading my blog.
